Blonde, described as a fictional take on Marilyn Monroe’s life story, is written and directed by Andrew Dominik and is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ 2000 novel of the same name. The film has been in the works since 2012, with Naomi Watts and Jessica Chastain previously attached to play the lead roles. Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Bobby Cannavale, Caspar Phillipson, Toby Hus, and others will appear alongside de Armas.
