Billie Eilish, 20, and boyfriend Jesse Rutherford, 31, make relationship official
In spite of the criticism, she is more content than ever.
In the early hours of Tuesday, Billie Eilish made Instagram official with a photo of her and her much-older boyfriend, Jesse Rutherford.
The “TV” singer posted a slideshow of pictures from her Halloween weekend, including one of herself and the Neighbourhood singer dressed as a baby and an elderly man.
A photo of Rutherford dressed as a clown was also posted.
Eilish captioned the photo, “life is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy happy halloween.”

Sunday night at a star-studded party, the new couple drew attention with their Halloween costumes, which had them both drawing stares: Eilish in a bonnet, bib, and doll makeup, and Rutherford in a bald cap and grey moustache.
One fan tweeted, “can’t believe billie eilish and jesse rutherford didn’t dress up for halloween,” making light of the 10-year age disparity between the two musicians.
“Billie is grown enough to know how weird and creepy this is,” one fan said
Midway through the month of October, photographs of Eilish and Rutherford eating dinner together in Los Angeles ignited dating rumours. The following night, they were seen holding hands at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

Photos from that period show that the musicians had known each other since at least 2017, when Eilish was 15 and Rutherford was 26.
Since then, the “Happier Than Ever” singer and the alternative rock musician have taken their relationship public, making out in front of the paparazzi outside a restaurant in Studio City, California.
Eilish has a pattern of dating guys who are significantly older than her. Between 2018 and 2019, she dated rapper Brandon “Q” Adams, who is five years her senior, and between 2021 and 2022, she dated actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, who is ten years her senior.
