The DMR-14 is a strong medium-range weapon in the current meta of Season 6, especially if you’re using a powerful loadout, thanks to a recoil buff in the Season 5 Reloaded patch.
The DMR-14 isn’t the weapon it was at the end of 2020, there’s no disputing that. You couldn’t face anyone in Warzone for a while if they didn’t have a DMR or MAC-10 in their hands.
Raven countered by nerfing the DMR, making it unpopular among the community for a long time. The tactical rifle is making a comeback in the meta after receiving a recoil buff in the Season 5 Reloadedpatch.
In medium-range gunfights, the weapon is fantastic, and with the correct accessories, it may even reclaim some of its former glory.
How to unlock the DMR-14 in Warzone
Fortunately, Raven has made unlocking the DMR-14 in Warzone quite straightforward, so there’s no difficult task to perform. All players must do is reach level 49, which may take several games but can be accelerated by playing Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer.
Warzone’s best DMR-14 loadout
- Attachments
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Muzzle: Agency Silencer
- Underbarrell: Field Agent Foregrip
- Barrel: 16.3 Titanium Barrel
- Ammunition: 30 Rnd
Since its debut in 2020, the meta DMR-14 loadout has seen two major attachment revisions. The 16.3 Titanium barrel is the first modification, and it significantly boosts the gun’s fire rate. This allows you to shower bullets down on your opponents, thus eliminating their chances of winning a medium-range battle.
The regular 30 Rnd Mag has taken the place of the Salvo 40 Rnd Fast Mag. The purpose of this minor adjustment is to avoid the loss of aim down sight speed when using the Fast Mag.
Moving on to optics, the Axial Arms 3x is an excellent scope for the DMR since it excels at medium range and allows you to consistently land headshots. Following that, the Field Agent Foregrip aids in weapon recoil control and allows you to lock onto your target. This attachment, more than any other, is a must-have since it mitigates the DMR’s high vertical recoil.
Finally, when it comes to muzzles, the Agency Silencer is a fantastic option for the DMR. The attachment increases the weapon’s damage range, and as everyone knows, a silencer may be a game-changer in Warzone.
Best DMR-14 setup (Perks & equipment)
Perks
- Perk 1: EOD
- Perk 2: Overkill
- Perk 3: Amped
Equipment
- Lethal: Grenade
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
When it comes to perks, EOD and Amped are usually good options because they protect you from explosive damage while also letting you switch weapons swiftly. When it comes to the DMR, pairing them with Overkill is by far the greatest choice, as it allows you to run an SMG in the secondary slot in case an opponent decides to push your position. Finish up the loadout with a Grenade to push foes out from behind cover, as well as a Heartbeat Sensor to track opponents who are trying to stay unnoticed.
DMR-14 loadout Alternative
Check out our M16 loadout if you’re seeking a different loadout than the DMR-14. This lethal weapon can easily take down foes at medium to long ranges and fires a burst rather than a single shot. While it isn’t a top-tier meta weapon, it is ideal for players that prefer a more passive approach and prefer to take out opponents from afar.
