The official trailer for Starz’s newest historical drama, Becoming Elizabeth, has been released. The film stars Alicia von Rittberg as the titular orphan who would eventually become queen. On Sunday, June 12th, the series is set to premiere.
The documentary, which you can watch below, focuses on the aftermath of King Henry VIII’s death and its effects on Mary, Elizabeth, and Edward, the three surviving children. It also previews Elizabeth’s coming-of-age story as she struggles to influence her fate.
