Bam Margera missing after fleeing rehab
According to the Delray Beach Police Department report, Bam Margera ran away from a rehabilitation centre in Florida on Monday.
Margera was required to remain at the rehabilitation centre by a court order and was not permitted to leave on Monday, so the facility’s management contacted the authorities. The management informed police that Margera had complained about the institution’s care and stated he planned to transfer to another facility.
Manager claims that Brandon Cole Margera, formerly of MTV’s “Jackass” fled in a black Honda vehicle.
The facility manager informed officers that he had been brought in earlier this year under the Marchman Act, which allows for the emergency help and temporary custody of persons in Florida who are in need of drug addiction diagnosis and treatment.
While Margera did not appear to be a threat to himself or others, the staff’s worry was warranted because he had escaped the institution despite a court order prohibiting him from doing so. Both the police and the facility management were unable to locate Margera.
Margera claimed in a Tuesday post that the man in the photo was his new sponsor in AA.
Margera, a former professional skateboarder, frequently updates his Instagram with skateboarding and family footage. He announced in May that his year-long stay in Florida for therapy was finally over. He shattered his wrist skateboarding earlier this month, he wrote on his social media.
