“Back to the Future – Robert Zemeckis Movie Coming to Broadway in 2023”
Broadway will soon play host to the stage musical adaptation of the classic Robert Zemeckis movie Back to the Future.
The Back to the Future official Twitter account tweeted the news of the move to Broadway along with a brief teaser image showing Doc Brown and Marty McFly in the fabled DeLorean. Back to the Future: The Musical had its world premiere at the Manchester Opera House in 2020. It received favourable reviews there and went on to win the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical. The performance will make its Broadway debut in 2023.

Robert Zemeckis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Gale, directed the original 1985 version of Back to the Future. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Crispin Glover star in the Academy Award-winning classic sci-fi film that spawned two sequels.
