Apple MacBook Air M2 will supposedly go on PreOrder sale on July 8
The eagerly anticipated Apple redesigned MacBook Air with the M2 chip, which was recently unveiled at WWDC 2022, is reportedly going on sale on July 15. According to MacRumors(opens in new tab), a retail source provided this up-to-date information on the MacBook Air’s release schedule (M2, 2022). As always, we can’t take this information seriously, but MacRumors is one of the more reliable Apple-focused websites out there, and the time does correspond with prior rumors, according to which the new MacBook Air would debut somewhere in July.
Pre-orders should go live a little before the scheduled release date of July 15, assuming that date is accurate. The expected pre-order date is July 8 according to MacRumors (and a week beforehand makes sense, of course). We’ve developed a dedicated page linking links to all the major stores slated to offer the laptop (including Apple) to assist you to place that pre-order promptly if you’re considering picking up a brand-new M2-powered MacBook Air (hopefully in the very near future, by the sound of things). Starting at $1,199 / £1,249 for the entry-level model with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, the MacBook Air M2 is available for purchase.
