Apple is reportedly working on a 16-inch iPad Pro going to be launched in 2023
According to recent reports, Apple is hard at work on a 16-inch iPad Pro that would feature a mini-LED display and is expected to debut in the third or fourth quarter of 2023. Apple’s newest iPad, which is powered by the M2 chip and measures 12.9 inches diagonally, is now the company’s largest iPad model. According to a story published by The Information, it appears that Apple may be targeting artists and content creators with their forthcoming larger iPad. These individuals require a larger screen footprint to aid their creative workflow.
It is now clear that Apple intends to reduce the technological divide that exists between its iPad and Mac product lines. In conjunction with the release of the most recent iteration of the Apple iPad Pro, which features an M2 chip, it was also revealed that Black Magic Design’s Da Vinci Resolve would be ported over to the iPad OS. The video editing software known as Da Vinci Resolve is particularly well-known for the node-based editing and color-correcting capabilities it possesses.
Apple may be considering adding more professional-level apps to the iPad in preparation for the debut of a hypothetical iPad Pro with a 16-inch display. Gurman stated that Apple is excited about the prospect of developing a product that brings together the experiences of using a Mac and an iPad. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said in 2021 that Apple was definitely excited about putting bigger iPads on the market.
