Anything’s Possible: Trailer
Kelsa, a high school senior, has just come to terms with her gender transition. In art class, she and Khal, a popular cisgender male, pair up to create portraits of each other, and the chemistry between them is electric. Their tension rises as they engage in the fraught dance of first words, first touches, and a budding relationship. Unfortunately, Kelsa’s buddy also has designs on Khal, and not everyone at their school is supportive of the couple’s sexual orientation. Despite these obstacles, Kelsa continues to pursue her goals of being with Khal, finding love, and finding happiness. There are no limits to what can occur.
Anything’s Possible: Cast
Eva Reign, a Black trans woman, takes charge in the role of Kelsa. Reign’s first significant cinematic role is in Anything’s Possible. Even though she had a successful career as a writer and editor for the New York City LGBT magazine Them, she had always hoped to star in the limelight. She told Them author Michael Love Michael that she had not gone after her dream until now because of her anxieties and fear of rejection.
Abubakr Ali plays the supporting role of Khal, Kelsa’s love interest and ally. Ali just started appearing in short films in the early 2010s. His role as filmmaker Raj Patel in the 2020 episode of Katy Keene, a spinoff of the Riverdale series, made him a household name. For three episodes of 2021’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond, he also appeared as Dev. In addition to his part as the love interest in a Prime Original Movie, he will play the title character of Hunter Rose/Grendel in the forthcoming Netflix series based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name. The post-production process for Grendel has begun.
Playing Kelsa’s mom, RenĂ©e Elise Goldsberry, is a famous performer who won a Tony for her acting and singing. Goldsberry became famous for playing Angelica Schuyler in the original Broadway production of Hamilton. She has also made guest appearances on programmes like Altered Carbon (Quellcrist Falconer) and Girls5eva (Ava Price) (Wickie Roy). As Amelia Ross, she will make her MCU debut in the premiere episode of the forthcoming Disney+ Original Series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
