‘Another World’ Actress Robyn Griggs died at age of 49
Robyn Griggs, a former Nickelodeon personality who rose to fame as a soap opera star in both Another World and One Life to Live, has died. At the time, she was 49 years old.
On Saturday, Griggs’s friend announced her death on Facebook.
“With a heavy heart, I am saddened to announce Robyn’s passing,” the posted. “However, she is no longer suffering and would want us to remember that and the good memories.”
“I will never forget how open she was to telling her story and accepting of me helping her tell it,” the note continued. “She wanted to help people and spread the word of her story to do it. I was honored to do so.”
“RIP my friend, I love you and smile when I think of you,”
The late actress revealed in social media messages that she had stage 4 endocervical adeno cancer before her death was publicly announced.

Earlier this month, Griggs informed her fans that she had been diagnosed with four tumours: “two new tumours on my liver, one on my abdominal muscle, and [a] large one on [the] right side lymph node.”
In the entertainment industry, Griggs started off on Nickelodeon’s Rated K. On April 30th, 1973, she entered this world in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Young actors reviewed movies for younger viewers in the 1986–1988 series.
