An employee who dumped water on a homeless person is fired
A simple battery citation was issued to the lady who allegedly dumped a bucket of water on a homeless person, police said Wednesday.
At some point on Monday, December 26th, a worker from the Triple S Food Mart on North Foster Drive can be seen on film yelling at and throwing water on a woman who is sitting on the curb in front of the store.
It has been reported that Kasey Weber, 33, has been issued a misdemeanour summons for simple violence. Weber’s address is being withheld for her own protection, according to a police official.
The mayor’s office said that “community partners” from organisations that help the homeless located the woman after the video of her being drenched with water went viral, and they brought her to the Bridge Center.
Triple S’s proprietor confirmed the employee’s departure in a video posted to social media.
