Universal Pictures and Bay Films collaborate on The Ambulance, a thriller and action film. Michael Bay, a new blockbuster who has given fantastic films like “Bad Boys” and “Transformers” and continues to do so, produced and directed the film. Bay Films has pushed back the release date of “Ambulance” at Cinema Theatre by two months, from February 18 to April 8, 2022. ‘Ambulance’ is a remake of Laurits Munch-2005 Petersen’s Danish film of the same name.
The fact that this release date falls on President’s Day weekend suggests the studio’s anticipation for maximum box office gains. One person associated with “Ambulance,” however, may spark debate among viewers: the director himself.
Currently, “Ambulance” appears to be a cinema release, but this could change as Universal has began releasing several of their theatrical pictures on Peacock the same day they hit theatres. Even if Ambulance is only available in theatres at first, the theatrical window will most likely be shorter than in the past, and the picture could be released on VOD a month or two after its first release.
