Amber Heard is the most Googled celebrity in 2022
Numerous occurrences captured public attention this year. Hollywood actor filed a defamation action against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, in 2018 after she described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse in a Washington Post piece. Amber Heard topped CelebTattler’s list of the most googled A-listers of 2022 with an average of 5.6 million searches per month in the United States.
The website tracked more than 150 well-known celebrities and analysed data from 2022 Google search trends. On this list, Mr. Depp ranked second with 5.5 million monthly searches.
Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter and the “Don’t Worry, Darling” behind-the-scenes drama are just two examples of the many celebrity news stories that have been reported this year, a spokeswoman for CelebTattler told The New York Post.
After her death this year, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom was the third most-searched person on Google, averaging 4.3 million monthly searches.
Tom Brady, a football player, came in at number four with 4.06 million searches.
Kim K and Pete Davidson are #5 and #6 on the list, respectively. In the month following the SKIMS founder’s controversial appearance at the Met Gala in a replica of Marilyn Monroe’s dress, the founder’s name was searched for on Google 3.4 million times. However, Pete Davidson averaged 3.2 million monthly searches.
New Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who has been widely covered in the media in recent months, came in at number seven. Every month, he averaged 3.19 million searches on Google. The entrepreneur has faced criticism for laying off thousands of workers while making significant modifications to the microblogging site.
