Addison Rae’s father calls her wife ‘Leftover’ as she is seen with Yung Gravy at VMAs
The father of social media celebrity Addison Rae, Monty Lopez, lashed out at his ex-wife Sheri Nicole Easterling on Sunday night, after she attended the MTV Video Music Awards as Yung Gravy’s date.
Easterling was initially linked to Gravy, whose true name is Matthew Raymond Hauri, last month. The two are divorcing after 21 years of marriage and are parents to three children together: Addison Rae, 14, Gravy, 8, and Lucas, 8.
Lopez, who has approximately 300,000 Instagram followers, shared a shirtless selfie of himself in front of a mirror with a message directed at Hauri and Easterling. “Unbothered! Thank you @youngravy for taking the leftovers! I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that SheriNicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her!
“Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child!”
Last month, Easterling, 42, and Hauri, 26, were originally linked after the rapper announced on the BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry that he wanted to take her on a date.
Hauri may have gotten lucky because there they were walking down the red carpet together at the VMAs on Sunday night. For example, Gravy stated in a pre-show interview, “We met online. Yeah. We connected right away. I’m from the furthest north it gets, she’s from the furthest south it gets.
“I’m into MILFs and she’s kind of the queen of MILFs, so I figured it was just a perfect match,” MTV also captured the couple’s kiss on the red carpet and uploaded it on Instagram.

Yung Gravy debuted his new track “Betty” that evening during the awards presentation.
But Lopez, 46, who says he is “unbothered,” shared a TikTok on Instagram late Sunday night in which he joked that “dating 20-year-olds” is funny as long as it is someone else doing it and not him.
A 25-year-old social media influencer called Renée Ash has previously accused Lopez of “misleading her” into having an affair.
Social media users shared their thoughts on the family strife and how it has affected Addison Rae, a TikTok star who has amassed 88 million fans.
“Addison Rae started doing dances on TikTok and now her dad is an embarrassing public disgrace and her mom is making out with Yung Gravy at the VMAs. Tough break,” A tweet by B.W. Carlin.
“I never thought i’d have strong feelings about addison rae but that girl has been working her ass off for the past three years and this is how her parents are behaving.” wrote influential user @mattxiv.
Rae has not commented on the arguments between her parents, although she did say, “I deserve happiness, peace, joy, hope, love, patience, kindness.”
