According to some employees, Starbucks is planning a Taylor Swift collaboration
Four Starbucks employees in the United States told Insider that the coffee brand is planning to create a drink in conjunction with Taylor Swift, but the firm is keeping mute about it.
Employees informed Insider that “Taylor’s Drink” will be a Grande Nonfat Caramel Latte, which will be available for the rest of Starbucks’ holiday assortment, citing internal business correspondence. They stated that the drink’s planned release on Friday, November 12 coincides with the release of Red (Taylor’s Version), a new recording of Swift’s 2012 album Red.
Starbucks has hinted at a possible collaboration with Swift but has yet to confirm anything specific.
“From Starbucks red cups to the upcoming release of Red (Taylor’s Version), it’s officially red season! We do not have anything more to share,” a spokesperson told Insider.

Some fans believe Starbucks hinted at a collaboration by punctuating recent tweets with a red scarf emoji, similar to the scarf described in one of Swift’s songs. Another recent Starbucks tweet mentioned two Swift songs, “All Too Well” and “Forever & Always.”
It would not be shocking if Starbucks announced a partnership with Taylor Swift. Celebrity collaborations have been growing in popularity in fast food for over a year and are currently on the rise. Following the success of partnerships with Travis Scott, BTS, and others, McDonald’s has officially launched their latest famous order promotion with Mariah Carey for the Christmas season.
Other fast-food restaurants have followed in McDonald’s footsteps. Tim Horton’s has revealed plans to collaborate with Justin Bieber, which will begin with the release of “Timbiebs.” Popeyes recently created a new spicy sauce and merch in collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, and Burger King just debuted its own line of “Keep It Real Meals” in collaboration with Nelly and Lil Huddy.
