The upcoming A24 psychological thriller A Different Man will star Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson.
The film, directed by Aaron Schimberg (Chained for Life), follows Edward, an outcast in search of a new life and a new beginning. Following facial reconstructive surgery, he becomes obsessed with a man playing him in a stage production based on his former life. Schimberg will also write the script, and production will begin next month.
Sebastian Stan is off to a great start in 2022, as the actor not only received praise for his portrayal of Tommy Lee in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy miniseries, but he also starred in the Hulu comedy thriller Fresh, a role that earned him even more praise. Sharper, a comedy thriller from Sony Pictures, is the actor’s next project Julianne Moore, Justice Smith, Briana Middleton, and John Lithgow star in the film directed by Benajmin Caron.

Renate Reinsve is a Norwegian actress best known for her role in the 2021 film The Worst Person in the World, for which she won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival. Adam Pearson was most recently seen in Aaron Schimberg’s 2018 film Chained for Life, as well as Rodentia and Under the Skin.
