A possible active shooter has placed Washington-Liberty High School on lockdown.
Arlington County Police confirm that they are looking into a possible shooter at Washington-Liberty High School.
According to Ashley Savage, a police public information officer, Washington-Liberty High School is on lockdown Wednesday morning after the school contacted Arlington County Police about a possible shooter on campus.
After receiving a phone call reporting a shooter at the school, school officials contacted police. Police arrived on campus before 9 a.m. and were investigating the report, but no shooter was found, according to Savage.
Arlington Public Schools has placed the school on lockdown as a precautionary measure while police continue their search, according to Savage.
