A New Poster For The Upcoming Film Overlord Has Been Unveiled
While the Overlord anime series is doing well on television, it is not the only thing based on the franchise that Madhouse is developing. A new poster for the Overlord anime film that is currently under production has been released to build anticipation among fans. “Theatrical Version of Overlord Film” is what the official Twitter account called the poster for the film.
This movie is called “Overlord: Holy Kingdom Arc.” It will premiere in May 2021 alongside Season 4. The cinematic adaptation of Overlord will focus on the Holy Kingdom Arc, which spans volumes 12 and 13 of the light novel series. When the demon emperor Jaldabaoth launches an attack on the kingdom in “Holy Kingdom Arc,” the king and queen have no choice but to join forces with Ainz Ooal Gown, ruler of death, in order to combat the demon.
The Overlord film’s production committee has not yet revealed a premiere date. Season 4 of Overlord will adapt light novel volumes 10 and 11. The premiere of the film is scheduled for 2023, before Season 5.
Overlord, a Japanese light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama, has seen 14 volumes released since its debut in 2010. There have been four seasons of anime created by Studio Madhouse. The pilot premiered in September 2015, and the most recent season premiered in January 2018. In July of 2022, the show is fourth season premiered.
