A GTA Online player is mauled by a car that they are attempting to steal
When the empty automobile they’re trying to steal appears to attack them at unusually high speeds, one GTA Online player is literally hit by karma.
Grand Theft Auto has always allowed gamers to steal cars from other people, and Grand Theft Auto Online is no different. The franchise is even called after the offence of taking another person’s vehicle without their consent and intending to deprive them of it considerably or permanently, which is punishable by at least a year in prison in most American states. One Grand Theft Auto Online player, on the other hand, recently had the tables turned on them when a car they were attempting to steal was attacked.
When the incident occurred, Redditor Ardietic appears to have been playing Grand Theft Auto Online’s Business Battle task. Players engage in Business Battles to steal various forms of cargo to employ in their Nightclub Warehouses, which appears to include cars.
Ardietic’s figure is seen parking a car on what looks to be a bridge over water, immediately behind a massive truck, in the video. They exit the car and toss an explosive towards the truck’s back end, which blows the rear doors wide. Inside is one of Grand Theft Auto’s many little automobiles, which accelerates straight out of the truck and over Ardietic’s character.
Within the series, the car in question is known as a Mamba, and it initially appeared in the first Grand Theft Auto game. It normally isn’t able to start up without a driver, though. While this isn’t the first time a GTA Online vehicle has been hacked, it may be the most entertaining. Thankfully, Ardietic’s character appears to have survived the encounter, as the video finishes with them leaping to their feet and sprinting toward the offending vehicle, leaving just a displaced Mamba and a bloodstain on the tarmac as evidence of the occurrence.
As of this writing, it looks that other GTA Online players find this movie amusing. Ardietic had fallen victim to “CARma,” according to one user, while Rockstar Games likely wanted gamers to assault the vehicle while it was moving, according to another. A third user suggested that the mother trucker would be compelled to abandon her young on occasion if they were in danger. A fourth user was curious about the car Ardietic drove up to the truck in, which they thought looked like KITT from the Night Rider franchise.
