“1Up – Film Gets Release date, Cast and Trailer Reveals Upcoming Gamer Comedy”
A trailer for 1Up, a forthcoming comedy film from Lionsgate and Buzzfeed Studios that focuses on video games and esports, has been released.

On July 15, 1Up will be available on Prime Video.
1Up: Plot
The film’s synopsis describes Valerie ‘V’ Lee (Paris Berelc), a competitive gamer whose impressive abilities have earned her a college scholarship and a spot on the Betas, Barrett University’s male-dominated team. “But the game begins when Dustin (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the captain of the Betas, tells V that she will never start. With the assistance of her coach Parker (Ruby Rose) and her best friend Sloane (Hari Nef), V forms a fierce all-girl team with the mission of “levelling up to the nationals… and taking down the Betas!”

The film’s lead character Valerie “V” Lee, an intense professional gamer who must create an all-female esports team in order to defeat the Betas, an adversarial all-male esports team, is introduced in the trailer.
