13 Classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games are included in the Cowabunga Collection

Konami, Nickelodeon, and retro-gaming expert Digital Eclipse, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is being condensed into a single Umbrella. As part of the Cowabunga Collection, gamers will be able to experience the exhilaration of Konami’s legendary beat-’em-up arcade games, along with a new level of grief as they relive the original Ninja Turtles NES platformer’s.

Sony’s State of Play webcast on Wednesday featured a teaser for The Cowabunga Collection, a 13-game collection that will be released later this year. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time and TMNT 2: The Arcade Game for the NES, as well as the Super NES sequel TMNT 4: Turtles in Time, will join the beat ’em up arcade games of the same name. NES, Sega Genesis and Super NES versions of Tournament Fighters will also be included in the collection.

Full list of games included in the bundle, including their original platforms:

    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game (NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project (NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time (Super NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super NES)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
    • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC through Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in the coming months. Cost: $39.99 for the collection.

It’s going to be a busy year for the turtles, who are also getting a new TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, out the following year in 2022.
